Legena S. Crawford

Legena S. Crawford, a native of Savannah, Georgia, and is a product of the Atlanta Public Schools System. Upon graduating high school, she entered West Georgia College (presently the State University of West Georgia) where she received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Early Childhood Education. It was there in 1993 she was honored to become a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. As a profession, Legena is an elementary school teacher with over 20 years of experience in the Atlanta Public Schools System.
In 2003, along with her business partner founded and operated GenShon and Associates Consulting Firm, LLC specializing in Educational and Ministry Management consultation. She is currently the founder and lead consultant of The P.O.W.E.R Experience, LLC, an organizational consulting firm specializing in contractual, ministry, individual and small business consulting.
Legena has served in ministry for over 25 years. She has served on numerous ministries as a leader and servant. She currently serves as the Executive/Co-Pastor of Strong Tower Christian Life Ministries in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
Legena is blessed to be happily married to Robert W. Crawford of Augusta, Georgia and the mother of one son. She enjoys writing, acting, singing, and spending time with her family and friends. Daily she strives to make herself available to God’s will and God’s way. Her life’s thought is “Your life is a gift from God and what you do with it is your gift to Him.”
