Stacey Winns grew up in the Bronx, New York, and currently resides in Virginia. She began writing poetry when she was fifteen years old. She has served in the recovery community for seven years helping others overcome addictions which are linked to false identity and negative behaviors. She also speaks publicly within the recovery world, encouraging a relationship with Jesus Christ and community.
