D. A. Kelley is a freelance writer whose love for writing and reading began at a young age. She writes Urban Christian Fiction, which she brings to life whether she’s writing poetry, novels or plays. Denise’s Christian plays have been performed in various locations in her local community.

Denise has a short story featured in The Motherhood Diaries 2, by National Bestseller, Mrs. ReShonda Tate Billingsley.

Denise’s debut novel entitled: 70×7: The Road to Forgiveness was originally released in 2014; but has since been re-launched with Anointed Inspirations Publishing in 2016. The new title is Even When It Hurts: Seventy Times Seven. This novel received a Five Star review. On release date the novel was number one on Amazon’s kindle list as a Hot New Release for Urban Christian Fiction. Denise was also number two on Amazon’s Kindle list for Best Seller.

Denise’s released a novella entitled: Revenge: Sweet as Cain was released Dec. 2015. This novella also received a five star review from PEN ‘Ashe magazine.

Denise has co-authored in several Anthologies to encourage women. She recently co-authored in an Anthology that released on July 30, 2016. The title of the project is RELEASE by Saba Tekle.

Denise has other writing projects lined up. She’s a part of another anthology that’s scheduled to come out in Sept. 2016. She is also working on her third novel.
